Game of Thrones( Season 5) Episodes 2 review.

GAME OF THRONES

SEASON 1: EPISODE 2.
By: Debola Anne

“He may be young but he is the commander we turn to when the night was darkest” - Samwell Tarly .
Now don’t you just wish you’ve got a friend like Sam, he did a great job giving out that nomination speech. Thus lets All hail! The new Lord Commander of the Nights Watch… “Jon Snow”. Can’t help but acknowledge this was my favourite scene in the whole of the Episode, he’s also one of my favourite characters and just beneath that rippled Bastard heart lies a true son of Ned Stark, I wish his father were alive to see that part too. Not only did Jon refuse to be legally called Jon Stark but he also refused to give up himself as a boy toy to Stannis.
Tyrion wasn’t joking when he had asked if he could drink himself to death on their way to Meeren because that was just what he was doing, and of cause his new obsession for taking a walk outside in the open kept Lord Varys frustrated and well, he just had to keep reminding our down casted dwarf about Cersei’s bounty on his head. The next scene did justice to that claim and we do see a decapitated head on Cersei’s table and how she will stop at nothing to see it’s indeed Tyrion’s head severed.
It’s still amazing how these first two episodes manage not to show us Bran and the white walkers… it’s one of the most awaited scene this season has to offer and we really just can’t wait to know what’s gonna happen.
Bitter Arya is on the prowl and according to her “Nothing as a worth to a dead man”, especially to a man eyeing her “Needle” sword or just anyone that will cross her path wrongly, she’s seen finally entering through the black and white door and what lies therein we can’t wait to find out, It’s also quite unfortunate that Brienne of Tarth’s services are not at all needed by the Stark girls, but she still keeps a tail on Sansa Stark whom with Lord Baelish she knows might not be safe.
Ser Jaime Lannister seeks help from a familiar face to go with him to the far south Dorne to retrieve his daughter whom he fears might be in danger as a broken hearted woman seeks vengeance for her loved one’s death.
